Over $200 billion of food is wasted annually in America. It is public policy in California to increase the recycling of organics and improve the sustainability of agriculture. California Safe Soil (CSS) has a proprietary new technology – enzymatic digestion – to do just that. CSS and the California Department of Food and Agriculture – Food Safety, worked with Dr. Pramod Pandey, Specialist, at UC Davis, to conduct pathogen challenge research, which proved that the CSS process eliminates pathogens, protecting the public interest, while facilitating the licensing and commercial introduction of an effective new food recycling technology to the state of California, and the nation.
